This is quite a month for me...

Alright, well as some of you may have noticed, I haven't been on top of everything to the last detail like I generally am. I've not posted anything spectacular and I haven't been able to do coffee-themed posts while I wanted to during the course of my I Love Coffee giveaway.

I just want to let you all know that I'm not slacking off, and I do actually feel quite bad about it! But life and kids have to come first, and I have my hands full helping out with seven of my younger brothers and sisters. Prayers please for my parents as they go to Cleveland Clinic this month to deal with some serious health issues, and prayers for me as well since I am suddenly surrounded by nine kids instead of two - all of them wanting different things at different times! When you add in the laundry and dishes and housekeeping (don't forget weeding the garden!) that comes with this gig, I'm sure you'll understand why I'm feeling unusually frazzled!

I expect that by the time I find a rhythm to this madness, it will be just about time for me to leave, but at least I'm staying in practice. If anyone has advice to give on how to deal with a whole troop of kids at once, I'd love to hear it. Perhaps I could experiment with it and write my blog posts on that!

Thank you to everyone who understands - have a great week!

I can only imagine. I do know I could not do it. I will send prayers for you and your family and parents.

  2. After God, your family should take precedent always! Also I will pray for you ~ prayers are powerful and I wish your all the best. If any of the kids are old enough, perhaps they could be a "buddy" and help with a younger one for some kind of reward? With that many kids you are no doubt going to have to practice some tough love! Good luck~

  4. Family and real life ALWAYS comes before the blogs and such. Positive energy being sent your way to help.
