    1. Thank you so much! The economy is so rough these days... I'd hate for people to waste money on something because I tried to sugar-coat something!!

  4. Frankly, it's weak to try to claim that even though you got stuff for free, your opinions are the same. It's simply not the case. Just say you got a discount or some special treatment and let the reader come to his own conclusions. There's nothing wrong with taking things as long as the reader knows that you didn't pay for it. A $60 strip steak tastes a lot better when its only $20, just as a $25 lunch is judged differently than when you just have to leave a big tip for a freebie.

In my blog, I put a single line discloser in EACH POST where I got some special treatment. Even if the owner just knows who I am. Because if they know you're going to write about them, the treatment may be different. When you do a global disclosure for the entire site, they you put every review into question. I only get special treatment once in a while, so it's important for my readers to know which specific posts should be taken with a grain of salt.

    1. I guess I'm just not as easily bought over as you are. I'm also not the kind of person that goes around posting on other people's blogs under an "anonymous" name. And for the record, I disclose something different in almost every single post as well. I spell it out for people. Obviously you would know that if you'd bothered to read my blog, but hey, we can't all get our facts before we spurt random stupidity. Honestly, I feel sorry for you. If it's too much for you to believe that anyone in this world can be genuine, then you must have some serious issues. And that's too bad for you, but keep your poor attitude to yourself and don't try to act like you're schooling me on my own blog, because if you were a serious/real blogger, you'd already know that posting some random junk like the above is NOT the way the pros operate.
